Hello, I downloaded NT8 through parallels on my Mac. When I try to open the application, I receive an error message that states, "Unable to connect to DB: unable to open database file". What can I do to run the application successfully?

This error most commonly occurs if Parallels has been set up to share the Documents folder between macOS and Windows. To resolve this, please disable this feature:- Start Parallels and select your virtual machine
- Press the "Configure" button on the top
- Under "Options", select "Sharing"
- Uncheck "Share Mac" under "Share Mac User Folders with Windows"
- Press "OK" and start the virtual machine
