    NT8 Logon Failed

    Hello,
    I have tried logging in today without any alterations in either the platform or network configuration settings from yesterday's session. I've experienced no undiagnosed connection or logon issues yesterday or at any other point for that matter. The pop-up messages on startup continues to be the following...
    "Please check your account connection parameters and internet connection."
    I've done that by double checking my login credentials (Ie. Username and password). Both are accurate and unchanged from prev uninterrupted session.
    The next pop-upessage is the one that I cannot comprehend and may be the root of my issue. Hopefully someone can help me understand and fix the following error:
    [
    Error
    "(My Account Name): "Unable to connect: (6):
    Raised in : com.omnesys.rapi.REngine
    Method :login
    Error. :Bad input (Logon Failed)"
    ]


    Why would it say that & what can I do to fix it?

    Also, should note that I use Rithmic for market data and that is working fine. It also has no changes from yesterday.

    I have emailed my log trace file to support. Please review ASAP & help me logon so I don't miss a whole day of work...

    Title will be as follows:

    "Dan Munro | Logon Failed | Log File | Support Request".

    Hello Dan,
    Thank you for your post.

    We've replied you via email.

    You are using an older version of NinjaTrader 8 (Release 22, can be found under Help>About) and would need to update to Release 26.
    We've provided detailed instruction in our email reply.

      I'm getting this exact same error message. Can anyone shed some light on a solution?

        Hello Tommycan,

        Thank you for your post.

        This error can occur if your connection User name and Password have been removed for security purposes due to a Windows update that has changed your Machine ID number.

        Please go to the Control Center->Connections->configure->Select your connection in the lower left panel->Input your User name and Password on the right->Click Ok then test your connection again.

          I am unable to connect on multiple connections. My username and Password is populated for multiple connections. My version of NJT is 8.1.2.1 64-bit.This started happening when i tried to connect after an abrupt pc shutdown. Message is below. A machine id is listed in Help>About NinjaTrader
