Closed positions not clearing from NT8

I'm using a multi-broker version of NT8 [8.0.24.3 64-bit]. I've 2 broker connections active most of the time. The annoying problem I'm running into is after closing orders from the chart trader's close button [ orders closed at broker alright] the order is not clearing from the chart and 'Positions' tab. Every time I close an order I've to kill the connection and re-log back in. This is causing me a loss of opportunities and money. Please advise a fix to this. Thanks.

    Hello singjay,

First, if this is a live trade please contact your broker's trade desk to manage your positions/orders. Once you have closed the positions/orders with your broker please repair your database in NinjaTrader.
    • Disconnect NinjaTrader from any open connections via File > Disconnect
    • From the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Database
    • Press "Repair DB
    • Press the "Repair" button
If the order was submitted to the sim101 account please reset the sim101 account.
    • From the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the Accounts tab
    • Right click on your simulation account and select 'Edit Account'
    • Press the "Reset" button
Next I see that you're using an older version of NinjaTrader 8. To update NinjaTrader, please follow the steps below:
    • First, copy your license key from NinjaTrader under Help> License Key then exit NinjaTrader
    • Click on the link:http://https://ninjatrader.com/PlatformDirect
    • Enter your license key and press Submit
    • Select 'Download'
    • Critical: Before running the installer, ensure NinjaTrader is closed.
Please let me know if the issue persists.

Hi Christopher. I applied your suggestions with no luck. I've installed the latest & greatest NT8 along with repairing the DB but the issue still persists.

So I may look into this further please go to Help->Email Support and be sure to include Attn: Chris Jameson in the Subject line, a link to this thread in the body and a check in the box for "Log and trace files".

Also within the email can you tell me what date/time this last occurred and what instrument/expiry you were trading when you last seen this behavior.
