    Problem starting platform

    Hello I just restarted my NT8 platform and as soon as my charts come up the platform disappears. I restarted my computer and still does the samething.

    Thank you for your post.

    In order to better understand what is occurring, we will need to take a look at your diagnostics. It could be an error within NinjaTrader preventing the platform from loading, or perhaps a failing Windows module. I'd be happy to help investigate. Are you able to start the platform in Safe Mode?

    Safe Mode will prevent NinjaTrader from:
    • Loading workspaces.
    • Connecting on start-up.
    • Loading custom assemblies.
    • Getting instrument updates from the server.
    To enable safe mode, please use the following steps:
    • Exit NinjaTrader.
    • Hold the CONTROL key and double click the NinjaTrader icon.
    • Keep the CONTROL key held down until you see the Control Center.
    • You can verify you are in safe mode by going to Help -> About.
    If the platform launches in Safe Mode, please send me your log and trace files so that I may look into what occurred.

    You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Email Support

    Ensuring 'Log and Trace Files' is checked will include these files. This is checked by default.

    Please reference the following ticket number in the body of the email: 3531697 ATTN Zachary

    If you are unable to launch in Safe Mode, please let me know and I will provide instructions for how to manually send the log and trace files.
