when I type a symbol into a chart or any other input field (like market analyser) there is a delay of 7 second delay before the instrument is shown while some charts will turn black. As well, sometime the input screen will not appear.

You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Email Support
Ensuring 'Log and Trace Files' is checked will include these files. This is checked by default.
