No joy making a micro FX future chart
Tried to make a chart as above this evening. Tried several different pairs. Nothing. No 'loading'. Nothing. What gives? I know my software and connetion were good as I had my MES setup going at the time.Tags: None

I'd like to take a look at your log and trace files for this issue. These files contain diagnostic information related to what is occurring on your platform that will help us resolve this issue in a timely manner.
Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to an email to platformsupport[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com with "2617877 ATTN Marco G" in the subject line and a link to this forum post in the message body so I may investigate this matter further.
Open your NinjaTrader folder under Documents.
Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
Once you have emailed these to us, you may delete these compressed folders.

Thanks for that information.
In this case, you are using a CQG based connection, which would not provide forex data. You could use the "6's" for the futures contracts (M6E 09-20, M6B 09-20, etc— you can search these from the Control Center> Tools> Intstruments> search for "6") or otherwise set up a connection that supports forex instruments:

Thank you for your reply, apologies on the misunderstanding.
Resetting your instruments should resolve this item.
To reset your instruments, please take the steps below.- First, disconnect from any data providers by navigating to the Control Center > Connections menu, and left-click on “disconnect” that appears to the right when hovering your mouse over any active connection
- Next, reset your instruments by navigating to the Control Center > Tools > Database Management
- In the Database Management window, under the “Update instruments” section, ensure that “General properties”, "Futures expiries" and “Symbol mappings” options are checked and then click Update
- Lastly, restart NinjaTrader for the changes to occur
