Certain instruments opening but not ticking with CQG data

I am currently trying the free CQG data with NT8. It works perfectly for ES and CL.

However when I open an HO (HO 10-18, heating oil) chart, I get a fully updated chart to the present moment, but it won't get any new ticks...furthermore, a superDOM will not update or display any prices either.

I was thinking that perhaps HO is not supported with CQG, but if that were the case, why would I be able to get all the data up to the present moment when opening a new chart? I could theoretically keep closing and reopening the chart to refresh the data, but obviously this is impractical.

Any ideas on what would cause a chart to open with all of the data up to the moment of opening the chart, but not get any new ticks?

The CQG futures demo provides real-time data for many of the most popular futures instruments, however, it does not provider real-time data for all futures instruments.

HO happens to be an instrument which the demo feed does not provide real-time data for. You would need a paid data subscription through a supported broker (like NinjaTrader Brokerage) or supplementary data provider (like Kinetick) to receive real-time HO data.

You're receiving historical data because NinjaTrader's historical data servers record and provide HO historical data. What you're doing is constantly reloading the historical data on your chart which is then updating your chart with the most current historical data.
