    64 Brushes

I have created an indicator that deals with 64 Brushes.
    That's a lot !

Actually I am using OnRenderTargetChanged() method to convert WPF brush to SharpDx.Direct2D1.Brush.

Does that make sense or is it too many brushes conversion which could affect performance ?

Is there a better way to deal with this ?

    Thank you

    Hello blar58,

The maximum number of brush objects you can create is 65,535.

The less you have the better the performance.

Is each one of these brushes a different color?
If so, there really isn't any way around that.

If they are the same colors, you would only really need one brush per color.

But if you creating/recreating the dx brush in OnRenderTargetChanged and you are not creating any new objects in OnRender(), then this would be the most efficient way to get the best performance.
