Custom indicator does not appear in available indicators list

    Hello,

I am attempting to code my own indicator, but it is not appearing in the available indicators list. I am on NT8. I have confirmed the following:

    - File name, Name = "" , and public class name are all the same per best practices
    - The indicator compiles without generating any errors in the log
    - It is visible in the Ninjascript editor list (where I am editing it)
    - File is in the bin / custom / indicators directory

Is there anything else I am missing? Does the filename need to begin with an '@' like the others in that directory? (I tried that and it didn't change anything, but just asking).

    Hello mrmccraig,

The filename does not need an @, that is only used to define items as system indicators. If the Name="" is correct that is what you would see in the UI. Please check the log tab after opening the indicators window, if the indicator has an error in its OnStateChange that would prevent it from showing up and the error would only appear after opening he indicators window.
