    Advantage of OnRenderTargetChanged over OnRender

    What is the advantage to use OnRenderTargetChanged() for i.e. creating/disposing the disposable elements (i.e. brushes, layaouts ,etc..)

    If we only use those objects in OnRender, cant we just create those object in the beggining part of OnRender and dispose them in the bottom part of OnRender? like:

    Code:
    protected override void OnRender(....)
    {
         var MyDxBrush = MyBrush.ToDxBrush(RenderTarget);
        ...
        ...
        ...
        ...
       MyDxBrush.Dispose();
    }

    what is the advantage of one over another?

    Hello TazoTodua,

    The main advantage would be that you perform the creation process many fewer times. OnRender is called very frequently so if you have a large number of resources it could be more efficient to create them less.

    I look forward to being of further assistance.
