How to generate indicator zip file.

Hi,

I have developed an indicator using NT8 editor and I am now wondering how can I generate the zip file that contains the info.xml + dll to properly package and distribute it (Tools->Import->NT8 addon). If it is already generated, where would that be? Do you have a specific guide somewhere on this ? I have read https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...t_overview.htm but it did not help on this subject.

Also, I am using several AddOns that I wrote to make it work. If the guide does not exist, could you point me in the right direction how on to include several indicator/addon in the compilation process using NT editor ?

Hello Yoan,

To export a NinjaTrader 8 NinjaScript so this can be shared and imported by the recipient do the following:

1. Click Tools -> Export -> NinjaScript Add-on...
2. Click the 'add' link -> check the box(es) for the script(s) and reference(s) you want to include
3. Click the 'Export' button
4. Enter a unique name for the file in the value for 'File name:'
5. Choose a save location -> click Save
6. Click OK to clear the export location message

By default your exported file will be in the following location:

• (My) Documents/NinjaTrader 8/bin/Custom/ExportNinjaScript/<export_file_name.zip>

Did not see that export button, thanks. I gave it a try but it failed and said I need to check the log without saying which one (Main window does not say anything under logs and neither did output in ninja editor).

Have you included all indicators called by the script in the export package?
