I use EnterLong, ExitLong, EnterShort and ExitShort
I understand the following:
When the system goes long "buy" appears in the entry name column
When the system goes short "Sell short" appears in the entry name column
I need help with understanding the exit names:
The exit name for a "buy" is always "sell"
The exit name for a "sell" is sometimes "buy to cover" and other times "Close Position"
Please confirm:
"buy to cover" is the result of a "exitshort"
"close position" as the exit name for a short trade means the system closed the trade because it went enterlong
Important: As stated above the exit name for "buy" entry is always "sell". Why is it never "sell to cover" or "close position". Does "sell" actually mean "sell to cover" - it seems inconsistent
