Parameter panel won't update

I have a custom strategy script that compiles without error. On two of my three computers, the parameter panel comes up with all expected properties showing and the strategy runs without error. On the third computer, the same code still compiles, but creating a new strategy shows the properties panel as blank, or still showing the properties from whatever the prior selected strategy was. Clicking through the sample strategies updates the panel, but clicking the custom strategy leaves the the panel set to the last strategy's properties.

I had a similar problem on one of the other computers, which was fixed by deleting the strategy script, creating a new one with the same name, and pasting the code back in. That's not working for this one.

All three computers are running the same version of Ninjatrader. The main difference I can see is that the one that is not working has a live license, whereas the other two have demo licenses. Also, the two that showed the symptom are running Windows 7 32-bit, whereas the one that has never had the problem is on Windows 8 64-bit.

Hi,

On the PC with issues, can you check to see if you have any templates saved for this strategy? These templates will generate the properties panel you refer to.

To check for one, please go to (My) Documents\NinjaTrader 7\templates\Strategy

Please look for any .xml files which would be related to your strategy. I'd suggest deleting any related files and checking again.

There was nothing in templates\Strategy.

I ended up deleting the entire Documents\NinjaTrader 7 folder, thus having to reset all my settings, and now the correct parameters show up in the properties panel. So, something in there was interfering, but I still don't know what.
