Hi,

After running a backtest of a new custom strategy (NT 6.5), I click on any Strategy Analyzer tab apart from "Summary" and I get "NT has detected an error and needs to shut down".

My Trace File has the following:

Any suggestions as to what might be causing this?

Would than mean an emtpy object was accessed?

Then you would need to debug with Prints or Try / Catch where this was occuring so you could add a code check for it.

Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
?

Does any of the Trace text following the above offer any further clues?

Thanks. Is this something you can reproduce with your particular strategy? If so, can you please send us your strategy so we can run tests on our end? Also, NT7 may work better. Can you try on there?

I just ran your strategy and did not get any crashes on NT6.5 for ES 09-10. Can you please clarify how you are backtesting this strategy.

It backtests OK, but after the backtest, when I click on any Strategy Analyzer tab other than SUMMARY, that's when I get the error.

Does that repeat for you?

No issues on my end with your strategy. I have cycled through all tabs. Is this something you can reproduce? I suggest maybe trying a reinstall.

Yes, I have reporduced it several times.

I'll try on another computer (where I have another instance of NT). If I can't reproduce it myself there, I will re-install NT on the original machine as you suggest.

Unfortunately I am still not able to reproduce. I suggest trying to reinstall cleanly your NT and see what happens at that point. To do this you will want to remove your Documents\NinjaTrader 6.5 directory. After reinstalling please bring back only this exact strategy.
