Yes, with only the required components of the strategy.

Here’s where I have got to with the troubleshooting so far ...
I can get things to work as expected if I take the following steps:
      1. Copy ..\Documents\Ninjatrader 6.5 folder to a new name, and delete original folder
      2. Deinstall NT 6.5 using Windows Control Panel
      3. Reinstall NT 6.5
      4. Copy back all parts of the old ..\Documents\Ninjatrader 6.5 folder EXCEPT ..\Documents\Ninjatrader 6.5\db
      5. Make a connection to eSignal to load enough data for a backtest
If I do the above, NT works fine for me; but if I copy back ..\Documents\Ninjatrader 6.5\db, I recreate Friday’s error.
Is NinjaTrader.mdb where my historical tick database is stored?
If so, is there anything I can do to preserve this historical tick database for continued use?

AnotherTrader, correct the tick data would be stored in your database MDB file which seems corrupted unfortunately - you could restore this file back and then just try exporting your tickdata to see if that would work without any issue...then reuse the newly generated database and import back in the tickdata extracted from your corrupted file.

OK, I am going to try that.
          Thanks.

AnotherTrader, you can also try a simple restart of your computer. Somehow this can magically fix many issues.

Thanks. I did try this earlier, but it didn't help ...

Actually, I ALWAYS apply DeBuisson's Rule of First Response to Unexpected System Behaviour in any case (“If you haven’t a clue what’s happening, first of all switch the bloody thing off and then on again ...”)

OK, did a test with a sub-set of the data, and this seems to work. So I'll go forward with this.

I have been through the following steps and repaired a copy of NT on one of my computers (AUTOTESTING01, where I do backtests/optimizations, and have my most complete tick/1-min database):
                    1. Export all tick/1-min data (ticker by ticker) from prior corrupted version of NT
                    2. Copy ..\Documents\Ninjatrader 6.5 folder to a new name, and delete original folder
                    3. De-install NT 6.5 completely using Windows Control Panel
                    4. Reinstall NT 6.5
                    5. Copy back all parts of the old ..\Documents\Ninjatrader 6.5 folder EXCEPT ..\Documents\Ninjatrader 6.5\db
                    6. Make a connection to eSignal, open 1-tick and 1-min charts, enter each ticker on-the-fly, and load whatever data eSignal has available for each
                    7. Import all historical data exported in step (1)

The above solves the problem on AUTOTRADING01.

Now I need to find a shortcut to repair the also corrupted copy of NT that I have on another of my computers (BEN1, where I do all new system development).

When I just copy over the ..\Documents\Ninjatrader 6.5 folder from AUTOTESTING01 to BEN1, I get the following when I try to compile a new strategy:
“Can not find the metadata file C:\Users\AUTOTESTING01\Documents\NinjaTrader 6.5\bin\Custom\NinjaTrader.Vendor.dll”

Is there anything I can do to make this reference point instead to “C:\Users\BEN1\Documents\NinjaTrader 6.5\bin\Custom\NinjaTrader.Vendor.dll”

Please open any indicator, right click in the code and then point to the NinjaTrader Vendor Dll from the correct folder for this install via editing the References (a right click in the code).

                        That worked. Thanks.
