Where to start if I want to create a strategy on a trading set-up?

Hello everyone

I'm very grateful for your help and sharing so that my breakout strategy is close to completion.

It's an unexpected lengthy and scary experience. My heart almost cracked into pieces when I saw the million $ loss on a monthly performance. It's a great learning lesson for me. Thanks for your time and guidance!

EnterShortStopLimit(lowestLow-TickSize,Low[0],"");

I used the above to fix my scary strategy (based on a NinjaTrader sample). Would be great if you can enlighten me the role of High[0]/Low[0]. What does the script tell the system to do??

Thanks Sledge. Is my code asking the system to enter a StopLimit order @HH+1 tick (or LL-1 tick) + displaying the current H/L? I noticed from the Orders tab a Stop section with price corresponded to the H/L. Please confirm my understanding. Thank you.
