      Yes, the symbol mapping for IB is RUT||100 in Instrument editor-Misc

      is there anything else i should be checking?

        After you have made these changes you have to remove the instrument from your Default Instrument List and add it back (do this with the left and right facing arrows).

          TF not working with ATM strategies

          I tested today TF with a strategy and it shows a strange behavior (see order screenshot below)

          When opening a position via limit or market order, no problem.

          But when running a predefined ATM strategy, Ninja Trader multiplies all prices by 100. If you look at the screenshot below, the last position was entered at 67940 (instead of 679.40), so the stop loss (24 points stop strategy, which would account for 2.40) was hit at 67937.6 (instead of 677.0 which I intended. So the position was immediately closed, because the stop loss was 100 times closer than intended.

          I did not change the instrument. Whenever opening a position via an ATM strategy I get something like 68,000. When opening a position via simple market or limit order I get 680.

          NT version is 6.5.1000.6. TF was downloaded via resetting instruments.

            There is an issue with TF on IB and NT 6.5.1000.6 which we are working on. Problem: execution prices could come in multiplied by 100 which would cause e.g. ATM strategies to not work as expected.

            We suggest holding off trading the TF on IB for now. We will provide a custom build shortly.

              There is a custom build available which addresses this issue. Please:
              - uninstall NT6.5 via control panel (this is not standard procedure but only needed for custom builds)
              - clear your browser cache
              - install custom build from here: https://www.ninjatrader-support.com/...er.Install.msi - start NT
              - Tools->Options->Misc->Reset instruments (mandatory!)
              - restart NT

                Daily chart of TF (IB data) not correct

                By the way, daily chart of TF shows the same behavior as COIL, i.e. candles mixing up OHLC data of different days.... Maybe you could sort this out as well.

                  NT provides historical data as submitted by IB. Please contact IB support of you feel there is something wrong with their data.

                    Problem of data or problem of data display

                    If you do not mind, using daily data from IB

                    - TWS displays the daily chart correctly
                    - Amibroker displays the daily chart correctly
                    - NinjaTrader cannot display the daily chart correctly

                    It is too easy to blame Interactive Brokers. Say NT, other than TWS and Amibroker, cannot read the data!

                      Thanks for feedback. This is the issue be had been chasing since months no? We still miss the relevant pieces of information from IB support to address this IB API flaw.

                        Just the date, and last candle missing....

                        That's right. Basically it is a date problem. NT displays all candles with a date n+1 instead of n. Which would make all daily, weekly or monthly Pivots invalid, if you take them from daily data....

                          I had but fixed the charting problem with TF emini, IB TWS and Ninja. TWS underlying RUT is working very nice with Ninja after remowing my existing Ninja version and downlowding the newest one. Opening new TF chart in Ninja with few complex indicators was surprisingly fast.

                            Dierk, will the changes in this custom build be in a general release soon? I am not having trouble with TF at the moment because I use Mirus Futures/ZenFire, but I may want to trade it soon.

                              The custom build is only nessecary if TF ATM's are not working properly and/or you trade with IB. The custom build will be included in the next update.

                                Entry price not highlighted

                                Thanks for the fix. Proper stops and targets seem to be working now.
                                There is one last bug, at least for me. Normally when an order is executed the entry, stop, and target prices are highlighted on the price ladder. With the special build, the entry price is not highlighted. Stops and target are OK. I have only tried the special build with RUT. I do not know if trades in other markets are affected. Please check.
