    rollover offset

    Hi,

I want to change some of the past rollover date in NT's instrument manager, based on volume. For example, ZS's rollover date was 4/17 but the July contract's volume exceeded that of May contracts on 4/20. The offset in instrument manager is 11. If I change the date from 4/17 to 4/20, how can I calculate the correct offset and change it accordingly?

    Thanks for your help,

    Jack

    Hello jackt,

    Thank you for your post,

The offset will be the difference between the close price of the new expiry and the close price of the old expiry, one day prior to the selected roll date (4.19, in this case). See the below video for how to get to these settings if needed.
