Chart instrument against another

Hello,

Is it possible to chart one instrument against another instrument, say TWTR (Twitter) against NFLX (Netflix)? In other words, draw the result of one price divided by the other price?

This is useful for long-short positions.

Thank you for your inquiry.

This would be possible through a custom indicator.

I have provided a sample indicator that will divide the current instrument's current price by a secondary instrument's closing price.

When adding the indicator to your chart, you will need to specify the exact master instrument name of the instrument you would like to compare against.

To Import:

1. Download the NinjaScripts to your desktop, keep them in the compressed .zip file.
   
2. From the Control Center window select the menu File> Utilities> Import NinjaScript
   
3. Select the downloaded .zip file
   
4. NinjaTrader will then confirm if the import has been successful.

Critical - Specifically for some NinjaScripts, it will prompt that you are running newer versions of @SMA, @EMA, etc. and ask if you want to replace, press 'No'

Once installed, you may add the indicator to a chart by:

Right click your chart > indicators > Select the Indicator from the list on the left > New > OK
