Horizontal Line with Price aor Text listed

I am looking for the ability to make a horizontal line and have the number listed on the chart or even the all charts function. Possibly even the ability to type text.
I saw it on someones NT video, they listed indicators and deduced it is possibly named
trendline painter.

Does anyone have any ideas or link for this type of indicator?

Reason being I want to be able to quickly look at a level I've made and know the price. AOR even know why I put it there with a quick shorthand text.

Someone on another board recommended a price alert bar to me, but that wasn't what I was looking for. It says 'ALERT1' though price in the margin is highlighted of that level, so I may have to use that.

I've got another one here, created by a member of our development team, that may provide what you are looking for even more precisely. This indicator will automatically plot the price-axis value of the horizontal line, and you can set a text tag of your choosing in the line properties window. This will allow you to use different text and price markers for each line that you draw.

There wouldnt happen to be one of these that triggers a sound alert when the line is crossed by price or by an indicator? or a 3rd party vendor that sells these?

I believe the indicator that can be found in the link in post #4 has that capability. You can set alerts on or off in the Indicators window to trigger alerts when the market price crosses the manually drawn horizontal line. I do not believe this will work when an indicator plot crosses the line, but this could be possible with a bit of custom programming.

sorry thanks thought i tried that, i guess i didnt make the request clear enough... it needs to have a sound when it is triggered....this one sends and alert message but does not register a sound... if there happens to be a way to add a sound to be triggered that would be great.

Hello chinapassage,

The indicator linked in post #4 is set up to play a sound in addition to displaying an alert in the Alerts window. You can change the sound that is played in the call to Alert() on line 119.

If you are not able to hear the sound playing, are you able to hear other sounds in NinjaTrader? Also, do you have alerts turned on in the Indicators window?
