Can't delete Fib Templates
I have a number of old fib templates saved that I can't seem to remove. I double click on an existing fib to bring up the Properties, then right click to bring up Manage Templates, select the one I want to delet, click Remove then Close but when I then go to select my Template it's still showing. I then go back to Manage Templates and the deleted template is still showing. Is there a system file where I can manually delete these pesky templates?Tags: None

Hello PanamaJack,
Thank you for your post.
Please try the following:
Shut down NinjaTrader.
Open the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Templates > ChartObject folder and delete the file named 'FibonacciRetracements'.
Finally, restart NinjaTrader and you should find that all existing fib templates have been cleared.KyleNinjaTrader Customer Service

Templates Removal
My question was not answered???
There-s nothing in the chart objects folder...
All of the Templates look like they reside in:
NinjaTrader7 -Templates-Chart (Not in chart objects - it is empty) - (this may just be the way mine was set-up for holding templates....)
I thought this was where I removed the templates from - to make them not reappear in my dropdown for templates -
but I wanted to check for sure before I deleted anything...
Thanks,
PanamaJack

Hi Alfred,
Yes, it is possible to delete one template without deleting all templates for a drawing object.
- Right-click the drawing object on the chart -> select Properties...
- Right-click the Properties window -> select Manage Templates
- Select the template from the drop-down -> click the Remove button
- Click OK -> click OK
Below is a link to the help guide on Working With Drawing Objects. Please see the section 'Understanding Fibonacci drawing object templates'.

Hello Alfred,
Thank you for your response.
Fibonacci templates are stored in your database. Please disconnect and go to Control Center -> Tools -> Options and select the "Data" tab. Select "Repair Database".
After repairing, attempt to delete the template with the method Chelsea described.
Advise if you are still unable to remove the template.Zach S.NinjaTrader Customer Service

Hello sean003.5,
Thank you for your post. To remove the problem template, please close NinjaTrader and navigate to the following directory:
- My Documetns > NinjaTrader 7 > Templates > Chart Object.
In this folder, you will be able to individually remove your Fibonacci templates.
Let me know if I may assist further.
