Opening NT

HI. Since all of this problem with Zen-Fire / Mirus I have not been able to open a chart. Initial 'simulated / Live trading' dialogue box appears then nothing.

So today I uninstalled NT and downloaded a new version (latest available), thinking this would solve the problem of having the 'auto connect' button ticked in the 'accounts' section.
Alas still the same.

So I just uninstalled that version and downloaded a 'demo' version. Unfortunately during the start up procedure that came up with 'live trading ' ticked ! ? So I am back in the same boat. I did not get a chance to put in the @SIM account number.

I am just attempting to get into the 'control centre' to possibly begin managing a new set up / FCM / data feed etc.

Assuming this is a problem caused by "Connect on Start Up" = True. You can simply open the config file in WordPad and near the end of the file you will find references to different data connections and the setting for connecting on start up. Just change "True" to "False" where ever you find it and save the file.
