The Latest In the Zen-Fire vs CQG comparison

...just trying to gauge the latest opinions in the two data feeds.

I am with AMP, which I believe will make a difference in some opinions / observations.

I have just switched back to Zen to see if, when I do get disconnected, if the
re-connect time will improve.

I have heard that CQG is better in fast moving markets, which may be a problem
with me and Zen, as I enjoy trading off VP at the open.

I'm totally confused at this point. I may end up returning to CQG and totally
irritating the poor souls at AMP and NT...

Depends on what disconnect with Zen you have? It's stable on their end.

I usually hit the 30 minute timeout issue, that is supposed to be fixed in NT8.

This happens when my cable connection goes to hell from bad connection. If I disconnect and reconnect, I'm back in.

I have no other issues that I am aware of.

p.s. they do say that the issue isn't reproduce-able by unplugging the modem, but I'm not quite so sure. Well, if anything, issuing a cable modem reboot might be enough from inside your modem f/w.
