Have Ninja Send me an Email when my strategy give a signal/entry

my strategy only enter/exits trade it does not send emails...am new to ninja so everything is still a little foreign to me eg i keep seeing send mail option in the thread but is that a software for ninja or is it a option on ninja platform..because from what i have read so far send-mail might be the solution to solve my problem in receiving email

There is a script available that will email you any executions that take place on your account.
Below is a link to this email script from our support forum -

You will need to download and import this into NinjaTrader.

To Import

* Download the indicator to your desktop, keep them in the compressed .zip file.
* From the Control Center window select the menu File> Utilities> Import NinjaScript
* Select the downloaded .zip file
* NinjaTrader will then confirm if the import has been successful.


Critical - Specifically for some indicators, it will prompt that you are running newer versions of @SMA, @EMA, etc. and ask if you want to replace, press 'No'

ok this seems like it will work the from email address what should that be and for the parameters whats the entries? and will this send me real time email alerts ?

I would have the from email be the same as your to email. When the execution happens it will send you an email on the execution information, such as time, position, price and so forth.

Hey cal, the email option has been working great for me now for a week but now its give me a mail drop error stating mail over flow is their a fix for that?

Hi Andrek1876,

Is this error coming from NinjaTrader or somewhere else?

Have you tried the Test Mail from Tools > Options > Misc?
