The only way I can think to rectify this problem is to have another manually draw option like "dynamic triangle" where the X or Time anchor points are set in relation to an already determined data bar.

P.S. There is no problem with the Y values, they work perfectly. Just the X or Time Anchors.

    ex) Instead of :

    Tag:
    Anchor 1 Time:
    Anchor 1 Y:
    Anchor 2 Time:
    Anchor 2 Y:
    Anchor 3 Time:
    Anchor 3 Y:

    You could have

    Tag:
Relative Bar Data Time: - last complete data bar or user pick
Anchor 1 Time: Relative Bar Data Time + horizontal distance to anchor
    Anchor 1 Y: - leave as is
Anchor 2 Time: Relative Bar Data Time + horizontal distance to anchor
    Anchor 2 Y: - leave as is
Anchor 3 Time: Relative Bar Data Time + horizontal distance to anchor
    Anchor 3 Y: - leave as is

You will need to provide a more detailed case record.

I will suggest that you Draw the triangle and record the anchor points, and the instrument.
Then tomorrow, again record the anchor points. If they have shifted, then we have objective evidence of such as you describe in this thread.

Hopefully, if you publish the triangle parameters and instrument, support can setup an identical chart and confirm what you say tomorrow at the same time.

I should think that it is demonstrable by using Market Replay, but I cannot be certain, and in any case, nothing makes the point quite as well as a live situation.

That you can program right now, but yes, programming it does not resolve the problem, if such there is, with manually drawn triangles.

I think the problem is not only with triangles, it happens on all objects drawn in the 'future', i.e., in an area that is beyond the latest historical data (not sure if it is the latest data loaded for the chart or for the instrument).

In my case, if I was in intraday mode (e.g., 15 minute chart), the drawing object will be corrupted if I close the work space, load new (intraday histrocial) data offline, then reopen the work space. I think this should be easy to reproduce the problem.

Basically, the sympotom is that time axis value of any anchor of an object that was placed in the 'furture' at the time of closing the work space will be coerced to the latest bar time value at the time of work space closure. I haven't tested this when I was in non-intraday mode to start with.

The work around for me is to keep the work space open, load the (intraday) historical data, switch to non-intraday mode (e.g., daily or weekly), then go back to intraday mode, my newly loaded historical data will be refreshed and the drawing remains OK.
