Thanks for the further feedback.
We are currently working toward advancements in this area. For example, in the past ,data would be restored over the weekend, but this time we were able to restore the data on the same day.Last edited by NinjaTrader_James; 02-13-2013, 08:09 AM.

Thanks for fixing this! One thing i want to mention though... it backfills on my one minute chart, but on my range chart it still has that gap. What i can do?Originally posted by NinjaTrader_James View PostThanks to everyone for your feedback.
Moving forward, we have instructed our overnight staff to call our system admin directly to address these instances earlier on to help lessen the impact.
I am closing this thread as all data has been restored.

Hello,
I have checked all of these markets reported (NG, CL, GC, FGBL) on both minute and tick and can confirm that the data is on these servers.
It is required that your restart NinjaTrader in order to connect to the redundant data server. Please ensure you have taken these steps.
If restarting, reconnecting and reloading does not backfill your charts for this period this morning, please take the follwoing steps
-Shut down NinjaTrader
-Navigate to Documents\NinjaTrader 7\db
-Delete the "Cache" folder
-Restart NinjaTrader and reconnect to your data feed
Once reconnect, please right click on the charts missing data and select 'reload all historical data'.
If these steps do not resolve the missing data, please send an email to my attention at support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com and reference this post.MatthewNinjaTrader Product Management

Hello,
Thank you for your post.
Open the Instrument Manager by clicking Tools > Instrument Manager.
In the Manager, select CL from the list on the right then click Edit to open the Instrument Editor.
In the Editor, navigate to the Misc tab and scroll down to the Contract Months section - select that property then click the '...' button which appears.
In the Contract Months menu, select the 04-13 contract.
Which rollover date is shown here?KyleNinjaTrader Customer Service

Hi newbie0101,
Great - I'm happy to hear that this did the trick for you.
One great way to spot a roll over date based issue like this one is to look for an abnormally large bar like the one which was shown in your second image. This type of plotting typically indicates that historical data from one contract is being spliced with real-time data from another.
If other questions come up please let me know.KyleNinjaTrader Customer Service
