    I bet the server is in the US and they are still snoring... hence "still investigating" XD

      CQG Demo is working fine, I can see all the Data. But not that much movement only 25 Ticks Range overnight for Crude Oil (CL),

          Jason - will this be the same problem with Rithmic?

          Morning Jason - Howdy All,
          I'm wanting to verify if I'm suffering same issue as others:

          Charts were fine and current since beginning of trading from Sunday night.
          Within the past hour I updated Windows 7 per MS prompt.
          Restarted the machine and have lost data on my three favs - ZB, CL, TF.
          Missing data gap from 10Feb @20:25 to 13Feb @ 5:30 US-CST on 5 min charts
          Trade history shows all trades and have a "blur" of those markers stacked up along the missing data vertical line on chart.

          Reload historic data option is greyed out.

          Should I not be able to just re-capture data from my data source (Rithmic via Vision)?

          Would a contingent plan using "Save chart data as historical" keep this from happening?

          Please advise....

            Yes, you experience the issue as well.

            Vision uses our historical data server as source for historical data.

            If you enable that option, all real-time data you receive will be saved. That way you can create your own historical data.

              I agree. After this is fixed, we should write an email to the CEO requesting they provide a backup for their data server.

                        Are there alternative data feeds that can be made available for failures such as this?

                          The historical data server is up and running again. Please perform restart NinjaTrader and re-connect your connection to connect to the historical data server again.

                          Unfortunately there will be historical data missing between approximately 3:18 AM - 7:16 AM ET. We are looking into if the missing data can be restored during server maintenance next weekend.

                            Sorry guys, but for all traders who trade with any kind of indicator (ie most if not all traders), the data gap created this morning makes it next to impossible to trade for the rest of the day because all indicators are totally skewed. There MUST be a secondary feed available for these situations.

                                This ongoing problems with zenfire and historical data gaps are really annoying. Nothing you expect from any professional trading software!
