Bars are painted wrong, need to refresh frequently

    Bars are painted wrong, need to refresh frequently

    Hi

    My bars. very often show the wrong information or location and I need to click F5 every
    now an then to refresh and repaint properly.

    any idea what could cause this and how to prevent this from happening again?

    Hello,

    Thank you for your post.

    First please reset your instruments with the steps I have provided below:
    • Disconnect
    • Tools
    • Options
    • Data tab
    • Reset Instruments

    Next please close NinjaTrader and sync your PC clock by double clicking on the clock in the lower right corner of your desktop. Once you have done that, click on Internet Time tab-->Change Settings-->Select time.nist.gov from the drop down menu and then click Update.

    The PC clock should now be updated and you may restart NinjaTrader.

    Please let me know if the issue persists after this procedure.

      I did all that you told me now I got to wait and see if it did the trick.

          Hi again, unfortunatley it comes back againbars painted down while price is up and stuff like this

          What do I do?

            Please send a note to Support [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com with "ATTN: Chris J" in the subject line.

            In the message, please include the following:
            1.) A link to this forum thread.
            2.) Your most current trace and log files.

            You will find the file here: My Documents > NinjaTrader 7-> Trace > trace.YYYYMMDD.txt

            Log file will be located by going to Documents->NinjaTrader 7->Log->log.YYYYMMDD.txt
