IB connection

    IB connection

    I have NT7 running 24/7, IB broker and Kinetick is my data provider.
    Sometimes my charts on NT freezes and I see no price movement. Usually it happens after night trade session.
    TWS IB is up & running in background. NT shows connection to IB and Kinetick.
    Reloading NT resolves the problem.

    Please send a note to Support [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com with "ATTN: Chris" in the subject line.

    In the message, please include the following:
    1.) A link to this forum thread.
    2.) Your trace and log files for the last time this occurred.
    3.) The time this occurs.
    4.) Are you connected to IB or Kinetick first within NinjaTrader.

    You will find the file here: My Documents > NinjaTrader 7-> Trace > trace.YYYYMMDD.txt

    Log file will be located by going to Documents->NinjaTrader 7->Log->log.YYYYMMDD.txt

      I installed the 921.5 build.
      The problem is still in place.
      I sent you log and trace again again.

      Please shut down NinjaTrader and TWS, then install the 921.5 build via this link: http://www.ninjatrader.com/ninjatrader/TWS/tws40_install_921_5.exe

        Unfortunately I did not receive your log and trace files. After sending the files did you receive a response from a support member? If you did not please attempt to forward the information again so we may look into the issue further.

          I emailed it again to Support [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com with "ATTN: Chris" in the subject line.
          Look for the clues between 12am and 8am on Feb 24.
