    IB disconnects datafeed and orderfeed

    Hello,

    I'm testing a strategy with the datafeed and orderfeed of Interactive Brokers with papertrading account.

    Several times a day the datafeed and orderfeed are cut and my strategy is disabled.

    I developed the connectionlosthandling and problems have been reduced but sometimes these cuts disable my strategy.

    Is there any way to fix this?. Thank you.

      I have set all parameters connectionlosthandling, but for example if tws off, my strategy is disabled.

      ¿I can include in the connectionlosthandling that to lose all connection with the tws follow my strategy enabled for a few minutes?.

        Have you tried already using the .KeepRunning option offered?

          Yes, i`m trying the keepruning option and the following options:

          RestartDelaySeconds = 30;
          DisconnectDelaySeconds = 600;
          MaxRestartAttempts = 10;
          MaxRestartMinutes = 20; ConnectionLossHandling = ConnectionLossHandling.KeepRunning;

          Two minutes ago i tried to turn off tws and my strategy was disabled inmediatly.

            Yes, this would be another scenario - you disconnect TWS completely - the KeepRunning option would work if you experienced a loss of connection, not a completely disconnected one.

              Ok. i expose another scenario:

              The last week i experienced loss of datafeed connectios and loss of orderfeed connection and my strategy was disabled.

              Two minutes ago i turned off my router and turned on, and my strategy keeps enabled, this works fine.

              How can i develop to keep my strategy running when datafeed connection and orderfeed connection lost?.

                Were you last week also using the same setting to keep the strategy running in case a connection loss is seen?

                How was last weeks connection loss recovered then? Was a restart of NT and TWS needed or not?

                  Connectionlost settings were the same as I wrote above.

                  When disabled the strategy I just had to re-enable it, but then ninja trader was flat and tws was with an open position.

                  I can see a lot of cuts on interactive brokers datafeed, and sometimes cuts of orderfeed and i think this is the problem.

                      yes, I'm using a wireless connection. I will try to connect the computer cable. If I experience the strategy disabled i will send you the log window. Thanks.
