Background color for a chart

I'd like to change the background color of a chart to "Transparent".

[The first option I get when I go to Chart Properties and chose "Color for Background" is a choice between "Net/Web/System". And although "Web" lists "Transparent" as a choice, it does not accept it but seems to automatically always flip to "white" as a default.] Is there a way to get it to accept "Transparent" as background color?

Unfortunately the ‘transparent’ option is not supported for Chart backgrounds so the default to White is expected behavior.

Got it. Is there a way for me to modify it manually in a code somewhere so that it supports it?
