Chart not displaying tick data after historical tick data import

PolarBear, several performance improvements and feature enhancements are being worked into NinjaTrader 7, a high level overview can be found here http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/NT7/NinjaTrader7.html

We addressed memory consumption, stablity and backtesting performance - on top of this we'll be supporting 64 bit then natively.

We target a first production release around Jan 2010 as historically our beta phases have taken us 2-3 months, at this point in time we don't see this changing with NinjaTrader 7.

Hello Betrand,

unfortunately I can't get any chart type (Tick, PnF etc.) running except minute based. I am using only the symbols from the instrument list.

I receive an error message (Error on loading chart data for... from Historic Data Server). This happend some time ago too, but was fixed before I could post an error message.

I tried the following without any success:

-reduced days to load >5
-first loading minute bars and then changing the type
-restart NT7B19, WinXP
-tried other symbols from the instrument list
-restored the instrument list and database
-checked with NT 6.5 current release on another PC but same error message

On my account settings I can see that NT is loading historical data from my brokers server. I didn't restored NT with my latest backup until now.

Serninja, which broker or feed option are you using? We're currently clarifying a potential server issue with PFG Best.
