Hang Seng Futures index not working with eSignal

Hi

I have eSignal data, and want to use the Hang Seng Index

I've been told to map it to $HSI-HKG

I even tried

HSI|HKG

It connects to eSignal

But when I open up a chart, I get no data? Do you know whats wrong, because theres no problem with eSignal.

Can you please enter HSI|HKF as symbol mapping next to eSignal. Check if you receive data.

If not, please send me your eSignal username and password, so I can test it on my end.

ok I've mapped it too: HSI|HKF, still get no data. Had a chat with eSignal, there is def no problem with the data I have. How can i send you the username/password?

I closed down Ninja and tried again, I got this error

Error on loading chart for HSI 03-11 Hkfe. Native error (-14): You are not entitled for this service

is the exchange wrong?

I tried doing what you sent me via PM, but I get an error:

The 'Master Instrument' field can only hold letters and digits and underscore

This is when I do

HSI|HKG

I entered HSIHKG without the vertical line. Please enter the same and let me know if the error remains.

You're right Jason, I messed up, I wanted the Futures, because I cant trade the INDEX. So I spoke to eSignal, they gave me access to trade the futures, this is the symbol


HSI H1-HKF


so in Ninja I added this

$HSI|HSI H1-HKF

and it isnt working?

Am I doing something wrong?

not working, still does not load the data to the charts

eSignal told me to enter just HSI H1-HKF

to test the data, and it worked.
