TradeStation 8.7 ELD file

I am having the same problem. TradeStation 8.6 Build 2696.
Windows 7 64 bit

Tried to import file: Program Files (x86)/NinjaTrader 7/bin/AutoTrade/NinjaTrader.eld.

Thank you for your post.

Based on the previous poster, can you please upgrade your TradeStation version to 8.8, and then reinstall NinjaTrader 7. It will include a new .ELD file to import.

The reinstall instructions are located in response #14.

Ryan, Are you saying the recommended solution is to upgrade to a newer version? If so, that implies you No Longer support/is compatible with the users current version. Therefore, NT7 is NOT compatible with TS 8.6 build-2969 (the NT7 release is after the TS 8.6, but prior to the TS 8.8 = it never worked[or newest build doesn't] with TS 8.6).

I am not saying that other versions of TradeStation are not supported. Based on the error message reinstalling TradeStation is going to resolve the issue, but I thought that upgrading versions might bypass that necessity.

Since TradeStation uses an .ELD file for connection the version of TS that you use is of secondary concern, which is why we do not specify a particular version to use within our connection guide. So long as the version is fairly recent. Personally, I have tested TS using 8.6, 8.7 and now 8.8, with both NinjaTrader 6.5 and 7.
