Intel X25-V 40GB SSD

Hi

Does any NT user here use an Intel X25-V 40GB SSD as a boot drive?

I plan to replace my WD Caviar Black with an X25-V. However, this SSD's impressive random read performance is accompanied by sub-par random write numbers. I wonder how this will affect an NT user?

Further, is it a good idea to place the "My Documents" folder on the X25-V as well, since important NT files are stored there? At present, my "My Documents" folder is in a different hard disk partition from Windows. At first, I thought I would use the X25-V for Windows and programs only and put "My Documents" on another drive.

I'm not really familiar with your variant, but I do use a X25E in the main trading PC which is impressively performing even compared to WD's Raptor series...
