Missing Data, Reload Historical Data greyed out

    Hello,

    We are currently experiencing an issue with our historical data servers for NinjaTrader 7 and are working on resolving the issue at this time. I will follow up once the issue has been resolved.

        I am currently experiencing this issue and still using NT 6.5.

        This seems to happen EVERY TIME i loginto NT (using Zenfire) during market hours.

        All data up until the time i logged off previously is missing!!!!!!!!!

        How can i fix this?

        Please HELP.

        UPDATE: Deleting the historical data and reconnecting has fixed this. I will keep this thread posted if this continues.

        In the meantime- this is a recurring problem; i have dealt with issue almost everyday over the past week...

          I am missing data between 10:27am and 10:55am for all instruments. I have tried to disconnect and Repair DB, but data is still missing. Please advise how to fix.

              Can you get the data? I don't find that acceptable to have missing data.

                Hello cunparis,

                Zen-Fire does not provide historical data but as a courtesy to our customers NinjaTrader records this data for their use.

                Unfortunately we have no means to backfill the data gap. You may however connect to a data provider as well to use as a back source.

                I have provided a link below to our Help Guide that goes over Multiple Connections.

                  Any update on this issue?
                  How does one delete historical data as someone previously posted as fixing their issue?

                  NT7+ZenFire
                  Issue on CL and Minute charts on NQ, ok with tick charts.

                    Are you unable to load data at all or do you see gaps in your data? If you are unable to load data please use the steps I have provided below to delete your historical data within NinjaTrader 7:
                    • Disconnect
                    • Tools
                    • Historical Data Manager
                    • Edit tab
                    • Select CL-->Right mouse click-->Delete
                    • Delete NQ data as well
                    • Close NinjaTrader
                    • Documents
                    • NinjaTrader 7
                    • Open the db folder
                    • Open the cache folder
                    • Select all files-->Right mouse click-->Delete
                    • Open NinjaTrader
                    • Connect
                    • Open a new chart
                    If you see gaps in data please let me know the date and time that is missing as well as the time zone your reside in.

                      Hello Chris,

                      I have a gap in minute data from yesterday on CL and NQ (all that I have checked)
                      Tic data is fine though.

                      I can reload data, but is still missing the 40mins.

                      MY concern is on CL, aside from the 40min of missing data, the last bar is always a very large ranged bar with incorrect data.

                      I sent Kyle an email per another thread I saw this issue on.

                        I did as you said and I still have the same issue. Deleted all data, deleted cache, restart and new chart.

                          Unfortunately, there is no historical data present on the historical data server for 11:01 AM EDT - 11:38 AM EDT yesterday. The historical data server crashed and did not record historical data during that period. Is this the time period that is missing from your chart?

                          We will attempt to fix the missing historical data during server maintenance this weekend. Please check if the gap still persists on Monday.

                          In addition, you could connect to an additional data feed that supports historical minute data. As per NinjaTrader 7, our preferred market data service is Kinetick. Real time service starts as low as $50 per month. If you trade CME Globex products, you can have these exchange fees waived if you have a qualified brokerage account. This service is only available for NinjaTrader 7. Please visit www.kinetick.com for more detailed information.

                            In a related question, I have giant data gaps on a 60 minute chart (EUR/USD). I have a 180 day chart and all of Jan'11 and 3 weeks of Feb '11 are missing. How would I attempt to fix this? I use Kinetick.

                              Any idea on the CL issue? The last bar (when the market was open) would build the last bar with a huge range, as if it had incorrect data.
