    This is my current Dec 2009 daily bar chart of the e-mini S&P contract.
    It's around two forty-five PM. Does someone know why the range
    of todays prices is so small. As soon as I log on to IB's data, only then
    does todays price bar begin forming. Thanks for the help.

    Please right click in the chart-->Reload Historical Data while connected to IB.

      I did this, and it starts all over again. Today's daily range after the reload, is even smaller than the chart I previously posted.

        Hello,

        Can you please close your chart and then go to Tools-->Historical Data-->Delete for the ES 12-09 contract from 9/18/08 to 9/18/09 to make sure we clear all the data.

        Then please close NinjaTrader and sync your PC clock. You can sync your PC clock by double clicking on the clock in the lower right corner of your desktop. Once you have done that, click on Internet Time tab and then click Update. Your PC clock should now be updated.

        Then reopen NinjaTrader and recreate the chart for the ES 12-09 contract.

          I did what you said, but to no avail. I also 'reloaded historical data' when all was said and through. Still nada.... What's funny is that the SP500 index chart is functioning perfect.

            Hi,

            Can you right click on your chart and then go to Properties and take a screenshot of the chart. To send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CRTL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

            Also, what time is your PC showing.

                  I've been looking over the a few futures, and quite a few do the same thing. I have Oct Crude Oil up in front of me, with todays range between 71.80 and 71.85

                    What version of IB's TWS are you on?

                    Also can you please go to Help-->About in NinjaTrader and let me know what version you are on there too.

                      The ninja version is 6.5. 1000.7

                      I've been using TWS for a year, so, whatever version was the newest
                      as of then. I wasn't aware that I ever needed to update TWS. If so, you might have found the real solution.

                        Hello,

                        Can you please upgrade to NinjaTrader version 6.5.1000.13 from the following link.


                        Also, can you please make sure you download the most current supported version of TWS, which is 895, from the following link.


                        Then please recreate the charts and reload the historical data.
