I was referring to my post from 11:20 pm when i first posted 2 new charts with all the default settings including midnight to midnight session time. All my charts use the same time interval for session time.


I can post the "new" chart again if it makes you happy, but I suggest that you come up with something different, because session interval is definitely not the issue here.

This explains the difference

As I can see from your 10000 volume chart, your data is incomplete for Aug 17. The daily high - as shown by the opening bar of your volume chart - is 5283,5. The actual daily high, however, was 5309.

Now if you check with the formula

Your pivot = (5283,5 + 5177 + 5207,5)/ 3 = 5222,7

Correct pivot = (5309 + 5177 + 5207,5)/ 3 = 5231,2

This explains the difference. You possibly need to reload your volume data, as the first 30 minutes of price action is missing!

I reloaded that chart about 170 times yesterday & couldn`t get the thing to work properly. Thanks for the explanation Harry.
