Importing Data

I already have an existing database, but I want to bring in another database of recorded data. I have backed up the data that I had before, and the data that I want to import is on a jump drive but it is not letting me bring it in. If I go to restore the data it seems like its bringing it in but nothing happens and eventually shuts down the system. I have done this before to a system that is running XP and it worked fine, that system did not have any previous data and my system does, also I am running vista which always seems to be a problem one way or another.

Thank you for your post.

Are you attempting to restore from a backup directly from the USB drive?
Do you receive the same result if you move the file to your desktop and attempt to restore from there?

Could you please send your trace and log files from the date of the issue to Support [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com with "ATTN: Kyle" in the subject line?

You will find your trace file here: My Documents > NinjaTrader 6.5 > Trace > trace.YYYYMMDD.txt

You will find your log file here: My Documents > NinjaTrader 6.5 > Log > log.YYYYMMDD.txt
