how to change a order

the following order has been placed and not filled.
I need to change the entry price.
how do i do this.
PLACE;SIM101;ES 03-09;BUY;1;LIMIT;898;0;DAY;oco1;idname12;ES03094TICK ;tst1
I dont want to cancel the order, as it may fill while I cancel it.
just want change the entry price.
a change command gets rejected

I also want to place a limit entry order with a fixed stop (via atm?) and a
limit profit target that activates if the entry order fills.
whats the best way to do this via oif or dll

Hi kiwibird, the NTChange works only for NinjaTrader internal strategy orders such as an ATM Strategy. For all other modifications, please use the NTCommand function.

For your second question, you can create an ATM template in NinjaTrader and attach this then to your entry - please see this overview > http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...arameters.html

can i do the limit through the ts interface?
lets say buy limit at 900 (the true limit order must be working in the exchange
s&p 500

if this is filled then ts sends the stop and pt

if price touches 900 but the order isnt filled
the entry order is cancled at moc or when the pt is reached.
If I miss the entry order, I must not take the exit order

if 900 buy limit is not filled, and ts changes it to 899,
the order must change and go 899 in ninja
