Reference Daily Close prices on Minute chart

wow.... i've spent about 8 hours last night trying to understand this universal time, and I am just not getting it. I need some help. I don't understand why a simple request is such an impossible task... I am just looking to grab the close price of trading day for the USDJPY which is 17:00 EST. I am very surprised that I am the only person that has run into this or is asking for this or bringing this to attention.

If you are unable to figure out how to work with the timezones it is much easier to just grab the time as it is in relation to your PC clock's timezone.
