Super Trend For Ninja Trader Needed

Have you considered adding code that would allow implementation of the Super Trend in the MARKET ANALYZER? I don't know if an arrow in the market analyzer would be possible, even a 1 or 0 would be cool.

Is it possible now? If so how would one configure to see the SUPER TREND to fire signals in the analyzer?

You can access plots only in market analyzer. Supertrend has a boolserries Trend property.
You can create custom indicator which can access Supertrend's boolseries and convert it to plot. Then you will be able to see it in MarketAnalyzer.

Real Super Trend

Hi Everybody

After testing and going through a long lesting i came out with conclusion that this is not really a SUPER TREND what i am looking for.

Results has not been so satisfactory.

I came to know about the attached Super Trend which is a real one and helps in finding out the great great trades.

See the attached GOLD trades i found out. I made comparison of 15 min and hourly charts and believe me this is what everybody should be looking for.

It uses nbr period and multiplier.


There is a hugh hugh difference in what we have seen in this thread and this attached image.

See it yourself and feel the difference. Can somebody try his hand on the making of this REAL SUPER TREND.

Suoertrend Trail

I tried using the Supertrend Trail strategy posted below but it closes the newly entered trade out after 1 tick whenever I enter an amount other than 0 in the default stop loss field....I have it set to...

Default stop 8
Length 14
Mult 3
Prof Targ 55
Stop Tighten amt 8
Stop tighten interval 8...I must be setting it in error...can u help...?

Sorry, that was my fault. I took some of my code out of the strategy before I posted it and I didn't test it properly, it was not attaching the stop limits to the proper signal names.

Hmmmm I tried the new version and it does not seem to enter the first stop level ....Do I miss understand how it should work...? I assume if I enter an 8 tick stop in the default stop field the position should close with a move 9 ticks against the entry...yes...?

I did not read this entire thread, but an 8 tick stop will give you a loss of 8 ticks, not 9.

I fail to see how what you posted is any different than the superTrend that is posted here. Perhaps you just need to tweak the multiplier and length settings.

Very interesting strategy. Would be good to have stop/loss method within.
Was testing. Worked perfectly, but couldnt secure profits.

Ride a Big Trend with Super trend and Dynamic S/R

Hi

Attached are 60 min charts on two different stock.

I have used super trend (10,3) and Dynamic S/R (21) along with CCI and elliot osc(5,35).

Big Big profits comming in your way..

Can somebody try all these indicators into one strategy??

Hoping to get a very good response from Seniors.

1. Super trend (10,3)
2. Dynamic S/R(21)
3. CCI (14)
4. Elliot Osc (5,35)

Now can somebody make that into one strategy??
