Need a way to apply chart default

I noticed this in beta 23. I think it should be handled more smoothly.
    1. Start by saving a default for the Minute period type.
    2. Create a new chart and specify Minute as the period type. You'll see your default settings. Load the chart.
    3. Change the chart style. (In my test I changed from of Candlestick to Line on Close.) Accept the change.
    4. Change the chart style again, going back to the chart style saved as part of the default for the period type. (In my case that meant going back to Candlestick.) But notice that you don't get the default settings back. (If switching back to Candlestick you'll get the standard green-up-bar-red-down-bar settings.)

I can see why this is so, so I can't call this a bug. However, to get the default back you have to change the period type (to something other than Minute in this example) and then change it back. But that's really clunky. Don't you think it should be possible to right-click the Data Series window and load the default for the currently-selected period type? I sure do....

    Hello

What is the intermediate action in step 3 - when you mention “accept”. Are you saving over the previously established default chart template?

Nope, no changes to the template, just changes to the chart. If I actually change a chart from Candlestick to Line on Close, then come back and in a completely separate step change back from Line on Close to Candlestick, I won't get my default chart back. (In my case my default Minute chart is a Candlestick chart with black down candles and hollow up candles. If I change it to a line chart and then change it back to a candlestick chart I'll have red and green candles.)

        Hello

OK – I understand. Since NinjaTrader allows you to save as many custom chart templates as you like, as an interim workaround you can compile a number of templates & save them in a custom workspace so you can avoid this manual effort.
