- Start by saving a default for the Minute period type.
- Create a new chart and specify Minute as the period type. You'll see your default settings. Load the chart.
- Change the chart style. (In my test I changed from of Candlestick to Line on Close.) Accept the change.
- Change the chart style again, going back to the chart style saved as part of the default for the period type. (In my case that meant going back to Candlestick.) But notice that you don't get the default settings back. (If switching back to Candlestick you'll get the standard green-up-bar-red-down-bar settings.)
I can see why this is so, so I can't call this a bug. However, to get the default back you have to change the period type (to something other than Minute in this example) and then change it back. But that's really clunky. Don't you think it should be possible to right-click the Data Series window and load the default for the currently-selected period type? I sure do....
