    You have two options:

    (1) Buy a datafeed that offers daily RTH data.

    (2) Set instrument settings to RTH, export intraday data and then reimport it as daily data. You can then add the new dailys manually to your data base, LOL. Not very comfortable.

What do you need that for?

      Hi

I just tried to load a YM 09-10 daily chart from Kinetick EOD and now have a blank chart with the attached error message.

        Hi FatCanary,

Once you click "OK", do you get another error?

First, restart NinjaTrader, then try once more.
        Then, try resetting the instruments...

To reset your instruments please: go to the Tools menu, select the Options menu item, select the Misc tab, and then click on 'Reset Instruments'.

Thanks Tim, resetting the Instruments solved the issue.

Would you have any idea what caused the problem? My IQFeed did not have this issue and I was thinking of subscribing to Kinetick realtime!

          EDIT:
Also, after resetting I've noticed my backtesting results are different!! Any ideas.

            Hi FatCanary,

Hard to say exactly, it's possible the setting was changed for the symbol mapping. However, let me know if this occurs again, for now lets treat it as a "blip on the screen"

If you were previously getting data from another provider, then switched, that could explain the difference. Or if you are now including additional data.

              Tick data with Timestamp?

              Hi,

I'm looking into using Kinetick with NT7 for trading Forex on Tick charts.
I need the tick data to flow in complete with a timestamp, so that if I reload the chart
data it is not different (major problem of Gain demo free data feed).

Does Kinetick deliver a timestamp with the real time tick data feed?

If not, does anybody know which data provider does give a timestamp with their real time tick data feed?

              thanx,

              Jeremy

Yes, Kinetick delivers a native time stamp on each tick.

                  Hello

I was told by RyanOlson from Ninja in the "Connecting" part of the forum that Kinetick would support the SMI (Swiss Index Futures, symbol "FSMI").

My primary broker is Mirus with Zen Fire (doesn't support the SMI) and I just connected to Kinetick free EOD on top of that. I tried to pull up a daily chart of the SMI but I got the "Instrument FSMI 09-10 not supported" error message in the log.

                  Thanks

laocoon, please try connecting to Kinetick first and then check if you can get the FSMI daily data.

                      Kinetick Symbol Map

Do you guys happen to have a Kinetick symbol map? I just signed up and all the defaults are empty in NT7.

                      Thanks,

                      Molecool

Hi guys. I'm considering Kinetick and would just like to be assured that its an independent feed. Could you please provide some details on the supply of the Kinetick data feed? Is it straight from exchanges?

                          kind regards
                          steve

Nope - they are using IQFeed as their backend, which is very good though.

                              Euro symbols

Hi, I was looking to use the Kinetick feed and the US shares load fine but I can't get the FOREX or Futures versions of the Euro versus the USdollar to load.It comes back with an error message on trying to load the data.
can someone please supply these 2 symbols for me,
                              Many thanks,

                                Confirmation

I' m interested in switch from Zenfire to Kinetick.
Before starting I' d like to receive some confirmation.

1)Kinetick (IQFeed data) CAN mantain the syncoronism between bid/ask and trade so that i.e. you can obtain a correct cumulative delta also in fast market condition.
                                Is it true?

2)You can have till 30 days of TICK BY TICK historical data (also bid/ask)?.
Does it mean that if have a GomCD indicator (who needs a file to manage the delta)
the indicator will be OK also on historical data?
Has Kinetick something like Qcollector and IQcollector to collect in a file tick by tick trades defining if on BID or on ASK?

3)The symbols are the same offered by DtnIQ?

                                Thanks
