NT 7 - fib retracements

I love the idea of being able to draw a fib on 1 CL chart and have it show up on my 2 other timeframe CL charts.

As I understand it now, everything I draw a fib (which can be about 50 times a day), I've got to draw the fib, then right click on the fib, go to fib properties and choose "apply to all CL charts" in the drop down box. Can I have it just default to all CL charts every time I draw a fib so I don't have to go thru those extra steps every time? It is a major pain to do those extra steps every single time.

Please advise.

I just watched Ray's NT7 features video. In the video he shows how you can create custom fib choices -like colors, text display options, etc...then save as a template.

With that "save template" function, I wondered if that could function could incorporate the user's selection of "this chart only" or "all of the same instrument".

Is that possible now or could it be added to the next beta? Since I draw fibs about 50 times a day, I really need my fib template to apply to all CL charts as soon as I draw it on the primary CL chart...otherwise, that great feature isn't very useful because of the extra steps involved.

Any chance of getting this change made soon?

I continue to draw and redraw fibs 50 times a day per day (as many other people do) and I LOVE the "attach to all ____ charts" feature but it takes 4 extra steps after every fib pull to make that happen..

I'm guessing that it would be easy to make "attach to all charts" a default setting which would be AWESOME..

If I say "PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE" would it make it happen any faster?

The suggestion has been noted. Right now our priorities are to stabilize the platform and get it to a production state. All of our development resources are used in critical bug fixes. When some resources are freed up we will then be able to reevaluate enhancements again at that point in time. Thank you for your patience.

Just to let you know. NT 7 Beta 15 has worked well for me. I've had a few crashes during replay and 1 during live trading but I really feel like the product is greatly enhanced over what 6.5 offered.

I understand your primary goal of getting 7 stabilized. I'm just excited about how cool 7 can be with a few enhancement tweaks.

On the fib retracement tool, could you add an option to start showing the lines at the 2nd anchor of the pull? I really want to concentrate on how price bars react to the line after that 2nd anchor has been established. The price action before that 2nd anchor is not relevant to that particular fib pull. Sometimes looking at the price and how it reacted before the 2nd anchor confuses me. Does that make sense?
