Problem with historical data in futures HE & LE

    Hello support team,

I have a problem with Live Cattle (LE) and Lean Hogs (HE) august futures. I'm testing your Beta 7.15 and I'm using the Interactive Brokes Data.
The Problem is that the historical data are wrong, but the real time data are right. You can see it in the capture.
I hope you could help me. Sorry for my english.

    Thanks

    Hello IvanBart,

    Thank you for your post.

I have tested this on my end while connected to Interactive Brokers and receive the same data. Can you please clarify what is not correct within the historical data so I may further assist.

In the historical data there is nothing correct.
As you can see in the NT capture of HE 08-10 there are two 05/11/10 days.

Please use the steps I have provided below to delete your historical data:
        • Disconnect
        • Tools
        • Historical Data Manager
        • Edit tab
        • Select HE-->Right mouse click-->Delete
        • Close NinjaTrader
        • Documents
        • NinjaTrader 7
        • Open the db folder
        • Open the cache folder
        • Select all files-->Right mouse click-->Delete
        • Open NinjaTrader
        • Connect
        • Open a new HE chart

Please let me know if the issue persists after this procedure.

I've followed the procedure but the prices doesn't match, for example at 05/07/10 in NT the prices are:
          Open: 88.97; High: 89.00; Low: 88.10; Close:89.00
(You can see it in the capture of HE in NT.)

And the prices in TWS for the 05/07/10 are:
          Open: 84.30; High: 86.50; Low: 84.20; Close:86.17
(You can see it in the capture of HE in TWS.)

          Thank you for your help

            Hi,

I have tested this on my end and receive the same values. Unfortunately this data is what is provided through Interactive Broker's API.

              Hello support team,

I have been in contact with IB support team, and I replied that the data is ok (you can see in the capture of the IB response message).

I've been watching the chart and I think that the bug may be that NinjaTrader takes the historical data of the next contract (June) and the data updated in real time are of the August contract, which is what interests me.
Do you think it may be due to this? If so, how can I fix it?

What session preset should I set to view the data outside the regular trading hours of these futures? These futures are traded on the Globex exchange.

Changing the subject, how can I get the RSI indicator of Oscar Wilder?

If you would only like to view historical data for the August contract without June included please go to Tools-->Instrument Manager-->Select the instrument within the Available master instrument list-->Edit-->Merge Policy-->Set to "DoNotMerge"-->Click Ok.

To add additional time to your chart outside regular trading hours please right mouse click within your chart-->Data Series-->Session template-->Select Default 24/5 or Default 24/7-->Click Ok.

You may also create your own customer Session template by going to Tools-->Session Manager-->New.

I have provided a link below to our Help Guide that goes over the Session Manager.

Thank you very much for your help, that's was the problem.

                  I have a few questions:
Could I customize the toolbar of the chart?
Could I have the Wilder RSI?

                    1. Unfortunately this option is not available at this time within NinjaTrader however, I will forward this to our development team for future considerations.

                    2. Unfortunately I am not familiar with the Wilder RSI. We do have over 100 indicators on our Support Forum that may be downloaded for Free and used within NinjaTrader that may be similar.

I have provided a link to our Support Forum below.

I have also provided a link to our 3rd Party Add-on partners that may have this indicator available.

                      Hello support team,

This distorts the RSI indicator, see the screenshot.
                      Why this happens?

I've checked it in the Visual Chart and it doesn't happen, it shows well the RSI.

Can you tell me how could I solve it, because the truth is that like this is no good.

                      Thanks

This is due to both instruments sharing the same price scale on the right hand side. Please right mouse click witin your chart-->Data Series-->Select HE in the lower left hand corner-->Scale Justification-->Set to Left-->Click Ok.

Unfortunately we don't provide support for 3rd party indicators/software. You would need to contact the vendor or the creator of the indicator for further assistance.

We are not qualified to assist since this is something that is developed outside of our software.

                              Hello support team,

What distorts is the spread and as a proof I send you also the wheat-corn spread so you can see the difference, in this chart the spread is good and in the other chart goes wrong.
Why this goes well and the other goes wrong?
You can see it in both charts.
I've also attached the sessions, may they not be correct?

Otherwise tell me what it can be, please.
                              Thanks
