Cannot Load Historical Data from MB Trading

    The backtest was started before the chart (#1) finished loading.
    The backtest was done about 30 minutes after starting the chart.

    More funny buisness:
    Today I tried to open SPY 360 day 1 minute chart, and again it hanged on loading even though it only had a few hours of data to import to bring it up to date (yesterday I had successfully loaded a 360 day chart and I checked the bars at the beginning of the chart to confirm that it had in fact loaded the 360 days).

    I closed the chart and checked Historical data manager and was suprised to find that the data only went back to 12/2/2009.

    I conclude that data manager did not store yesterdays data properly. Or that the date stamp on the bars I looked at yesterday were erronoeus.

      Camdo,

      At this point in time I am going to suggest you try a 100% clean reinstall. Please uninstall NT7, delete Documents\NinjaTrader 7, reinstall NT7. Be sure to backup anything you want to save before hand.

      Also, in Tools>Options>Data when you have "Get data from server" checked can you please uncheck "Save chart data as historical"?

        I have a chart with a lot of drawing objects on it. Is it possible to save this chart and reinstate it after the NT reinstall.

          Camdo,

          A reinstall would not be able to restore those objects. What you can do is backup your entire Documents\NinjaTrader 7 directory. Reinstall, retry the steps and see if you are able to resolve the issue then from a clean install. If such is not resolved you could bring back your complete old Documents\NinjaTrader 7 directory for your old settings to come back. If it is resolved though, bringing back your old directory may or may not negate the reinstall, but you could try it. Otherwise unfortunately you would need to redraw your objects.

            I did the complete reinstall as you directed, but the problem remains.
            It seems that only 90 days of data can be uploaded.
            If more than 90 days is requested then NT hangs on loading and leads to a possible system crash.
