Cannot Load Historical Data from MB Trading

using NT 7.0.0.15 and MBT Navigator 11.5.0.6

I cannot load historical data SPY from MB Trading. The chart is blank and says "Loading".
I have not loaded SPY in months.
I have no problem with BGU which I load on a regular basis.

Instrument settings for BGU and SPY are identical. Exchanges are Default and Nasdaq.

Can you please check your Control Center logs for messages? Have you tried opening a new chart?

There are no messages in the log pertaining to chart loading.

My computer crashed and I had to reboot.
I then tried to open a new SPY chart and it loaded 5 days of 1 minute data.
I then tried to load 30 days of data and it hanged on loading.
Upon exiting NT I got the message that it has stoped working.

Loading SPY data is crashing NT.

Also, can you please ensure you are on the correct MBT Navigator version? You can get 11.5.0.5 here: http://www.ninjatrader-support2.com/...ad.php?t=21024

              Camdo,

Please downgrade to 11.5.0.5 as this is the only supported MBT Nav version.

30 day 1 minute chart loaded okay.
360 day 1 minute chart hanged on loading and crashed NT.
180 day 1 minute chart hanged on loading.
I emailed you the log and trace files for the above events 5/3/2010.

                  Camdo,

Your logs do not signify any crashes. It shows you were loading data and simply cancelled the operation.

It can take some time to load the data. Please let it go through the whole process.

I tried again to open a new chart, SPY 180 days of 1 minute data.
I waited 10 minutes and chart still is all white with "Loading Data" displayed.
NT did not crash (that seems to be related to 360 day loading).

Please see your Control Center's status bar. What is listed there?

I tried again. This time some success!
SPY, 180 days of 1 minute data, loaded okay (took about 1 second).
I closed the chart and tried a new chart of SPY with 360 days of 1 minute data.
The chart did not hang on loading but only loaded 180 days.

This time the loading was too fast for a status line read.
In the past when loading was hanged, the control panel status bar said "Loading SPY date - date". After the chart was closed while hanged, the status bar continued to say "Loading SPY date-date".

                          Camdo,

When it is loading data it will take some time and on some providers this process cannot be aborted. When it loads quickly it is likely because it loaded up a cache earlier and is just retrieving that.

                            1. I started a new chart, SPY 360 days 1 minute data.
                            2. After 5 hours, the chart was still blank and displaying "Loading data".
                            3. The Control panel status line said "Backtesting BGU in progress" which was refering to a Strategy Analyzer backtest of another symbol done while SPY was loading. That test was completed okay and I was unaware the status line was saying it was still in progress.
                            4. I closed the Spy chart. and started a new Spy 360 day chart. The chart was still hanged on loading.
                            5. I closed the chart, and closed NT.
                            6. NT was restarted and connected to MBT.
                            7. A new SPY 360 day chart was started. It loaded okay in about 1 second.
                            8. It seems to me that something is wrong here. Even if MBT is going to take hours to deliver the data, NT still is not updating it chart properly at the end of the data loading. It should not be necessary to close NT and restart it to get the data on the chart.

                              Camdo,

#3 at what point in time did you start up your backtest? Was it before the first chart you open finished loading?
