Level II bug

Hi i've tried everything but nothing worked.

It will not save my Level II settings..any way around that??

Jack, can you please be more specific? Are you talking about the Level II window or the DOM? Are the default settings just not being saved?

I just opened up a Level II window, changed the color for the first row, clicked set default, shutdown NinjaTrader, reopened NinjaTrader, opened a new LII window, and the settings were exactly how I set them. Are you doing anything different?

Level II Window...try to uncheck bid, ask, open...and click set default and see....if it opens up saved?!

Grid Properties Do Not have a "Set Default" option..maybe that's the problem?
I go to Level II properties and "Set Default" but doesn't work for Grid.

Yes, "set default" only would apply to the properties you see in the form where the button is available.

You would set them by as you did: right click on grid->Properties. But these settings would not become effective for the "set default" logic.

Level II Window...try to uncheck bid, ask, open...and see....if it opens up saved?!
Or how would you save that , so when you open NT7 next time its saved?? (my original Q?)

Hi Jack,

For this, you would want to save your level II window as part of a workspace (File > Workspaces > Save Workspace).

This will have no effect on level II windows you open from the File > New menu, but this will allow you to open any level II window you saved, exactly as it was saved upon start up.

There actually appears to be a bug as a changed grid setting would not be restored on next time the workspace is opened (e.g. on NT restart). We'll look into. Thanks for reporting.

Levei II

It still will NOT save my Instrament (ES or ZN or GS etc) when I restart NT....I have to re-enter it every time I restart NT!!
